Men Make a Difference

Men Make a Difference

On October 9th, 583 fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, sons, nephews and significant male role models in the lives of children participated in Men Make A Difference Day. Men at Preschool, Elementary and Middle School visited their child’s classroom, ate breakfast or lunch, and spent quality time with students.
Research indicates when fathers and significant male role models are involved students: make better grades; have greater motivation to succeed in school; have higher self-esteem; have less health and emotional problems; have more confidence; and are less likely to use drugs.
